Founded in the United Kingdom and rapidly expanding across the United States, this advanced manufacturing organization operates a growing network of software-enabled precision manufacturing facilities focused on rebuilding industrial capacity through technology, automation, and manufacturing excellence. We employ a growing team of engineers, machinists, programmers, and manufacturing professionals across multiple domestic and international facilities and recently established a 25,000-square-foot Dallas-Fort Worth manufacturing facility that serves as a major hub for production, engineering, and operational expansion.

The Dallas operation supports high-precision CNC machining and advanced manufacturing for critical industries where quality, repeatability, and speed are essential. We support customers across aerospace, defense, energy, space systems, robotics, satellites, drones, nuclear technologies, and other advanced industrial sectors that require highly controlled manufacturing processes and rigorous quality systems.

The CMM Programming & Metrology Engineer will serve as the enterprise technical authority for coordinate metrology, building the inspection standards, systems, and methodologies that ensure dimensional consistency and manufacturing excellence across a growing global production network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, simulate, optimize, and execute CNC machining operations utilizing advanced CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, Hypermill, NX CAM, or similar platforms.
  • Set up, prove out, and run high-precision components while maintaining aerospace and defense quality requirements and tight tolerance specifications.
  • Develop and improve machining strategies, tooling selections, work holding methods, and fixturing solutions to maximize productivity and part quality.
  • Support new product introduction activities by translating engineering drawings and CAD models into efficient manufacturing processes and repeatable production workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and software development teams to drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and manufacturing standardization across multiple facilities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong CAM programming experience utilizing Fusion 360, Mastercam, Hypermill, NX CAM, or equivalent software platforms.
  • Proven experience setting up and operating high-end CNC equipment such as DMG Mori, Hermle, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, or similar machines.
  • Deep understanding of machining fundamentals, including feeds and speeds, tooling selection, work holding, fixturing, material removal strategies, and cycle optimization.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements while machining precision components to tight tolerances.
  • Nice to have: 5-axis simultaneous machining experience, mill-turn experience, automation systems, probing technologies, pallet systems, AS9100 experience, and exposure to aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
