Job Summary

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Quality, Food Safety, and Product Safety programs at the Carrollton manufacturing site
- Lead Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), analytical laboratory, and sensory laboratory operations to ensure consistent product quality
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification requirements across all site activities
- Oversee daily QC workflows, prioritize activities, maintain procedures, and align quality practices with other manufacturing sites
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse, and cross‑functional teams to support business continuity and customer satisfaction
- Lead and support internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits, ensuring timely closure of non‑conformances
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality key performance indicators (KPIs) for raw materials, finished goods, and laboratory performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovation support, and quality risk‑reduction efforts across the site
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
- 10+ years of experience in quality, regulatory, or food safety roles within a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of proven leadership success
- Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety systems, and quality management systems
- Demonstrated expertise with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (e.g., BRC, NSF, FSSC 22000, AIB), ISO 9001, and ISO 17025
- Experience leading factory‑based quality organizations, including laboratory operations
- Proficiency with analytical laboratory instrumentation and sensory evaluation methods
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in flavor manufacturing or food additive production
- Background in Six Sigma, statistical analysis, or advanced quality improvement methodologies
- Strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop technical talent and foster collaboration
- Lead quality and food safety at a critical manufacturing site with high visibility and impact
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a culture that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Support innovation initiatives that bring new products to market
