Job Description /ResponsibilitiesBuzz Ballz is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality and food safety initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for promoting a culture of quality, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and developing a high‑performing laboratory and quality team. The Quality Supervisor will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance product quality, support customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with FDA, TTB, and other regulatory requirements.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and develop Quality Technicians while fostering a culture focused on food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, FDA regulations, TTB requirements, and food safety programs
- Manage quality assurance processes including inspections, audits, product evaluations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Support product hold, release, rework, recall, and nonconformance processes while maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Partner with Operations and cross‑functional teams to identify quality risks, implement preventive actions, and improve manufacturing performance
- Monitor key quality metrics and provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to leadership
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, manufacturing, or related operational environments
- Change management experience with the ability to influence and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, data analysis tools, and quality management systems
- Preferred:
- Supervisory or people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ISO, HACCP, SQF, GFSI, or other food safety and quality management systems
- Food Safety certification or demonstrated experience supporting food safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with in food and beverage, alcohol beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related manufacturing industries
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to distinguish flavors through taste and smell as part of product quality evaluation processes
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors accurately
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments with moderate noise levels
- Ability to work an 8‑hour shift and overtime as business needs require
- Regular, reliable, in‑person attendance is required.

Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and interview performance.
