• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The clerk works a morning shift, replenishing product under directives from the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Manager in a specified area. Throughout the shift, the clerk assists customers and maintains department cleanliness.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
