Position Overview

Shift Supervisors are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor performs all the duties of a Customer Service Representative and assists the Assistant Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the store. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the shift supervisor directs the activities of all team members.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build relationships with customers so they will choose to do business with us again.
  • Establish a strong customer‑service culture within the store.
  • Support the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectives.
  • Assist the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store team members to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervise the team’s activities in the absence of the Store Manager, including transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures.
  • Coach CSRs on how to properly conduct transactions that meet our commitment to superior customer service and compliance.
  • Review and approve checks within limits.
  • Support store marketing efforts within the community.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Assist the Store Manager with managing schedules, cash, and store audits.
  • Review all Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure understanding of current policies, procedures, and any changes.
  • Help maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant.
  • Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be honest and have integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • English fluency is required.
  • English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Working Conditions and

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance.
  • Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customers.
