Job Title: Floral Assistant / Flower Shop Support

Coko Berry Flowers is looking for an experienced, dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Floral Assistant to join our team in Carrollton, TX.

A minimum of 6 months of previous experience working in a flower shop is REQUIRED.

Applicants must also be bilingual in English and Spanish and must have availability to work Friday through Tuesday, including Sundays

Sunday availability is REQUIRED.

This is a hands-on, physically active position inside a flower shop. The position involves floral production, processing fresh flowers, preparing bouquets and arrangements, cleaning, organizing supplies, receiving merchandise, maintaining work areas, and supporting our floral team with daily production.

We are looking for someone who already has basic flower shop experience and is comfortable working with fresh flowers in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of previous flower shop experience

• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
  .
• Sunday availability is mandatory.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to our Carrollton, TX location.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be comfortable performing physical work and cleaning duties.
• Must be able to follow instructions and Coko Berry Flowers' production standards.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Please do not apply if you do not have at least 6 months of flower shop experience or cannot work Sundays.

• Process incoming roses and other fresh flowers.
• Clean and prepare roses and other flowers for production.
• Remove damaged petals and inspect flower quality and freshness.
• Prepare flowers for bouquets and arrangements.
• Assist with the production of bouquets, floral arrangements, flower boxes, and Ramos Buchones
  .
• Wrap bouquets and prepare floral paper, ribbons, bows, boxes, and other materials.
• Assist florists with daily floral production.
• Unpack and organize flower shipments and merchandise.
• Organize and rotate flowers inside the cooler.
• Restock floral materials and merchandise.
• Clean and organize worktables, floral processing areas, storage areas, coolers, and supplies.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, clean surfaces, and maintain general shop cleanliness.
• Lift, carry, fill, empty, and move flower buckets and boxes.
• Receive and organize merchandise and supplies.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and efficient workspace.
• Assist with other flower shop duties as needed.

Candidates must have at least 6 months of hands-on experience working in a flower shop

Formal floral design education is not required; however,
actual previous flower shop experience is required.
