THE ROLE The Senior Service Center Technician is responsible for evaluating and repairing submersible wastewater pumps (Flygt) at branch locations. This role includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Product-specific training will be provided. This position may also involve customer interaction.## WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORXylem is seeking mechanically inclined professionals who are passionate about hands-on work and problem-solving. * Evaluate, repair, and conduct mechanical and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps
* Operate industrial equipment in a shop environment (forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.)
* Use company-provided hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Maintain accurate records within Xylem’s work-order management system
* Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
* Safeguard company property and equipment
* Demonstrate a High-Impact Culture through innovation, accountability, and empowerment
* Collaborate effectively in a team environment
* Work independently in most situations## QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED
* 2–5 years of technical work experience
* Electrical and/or mechanical experience required
* Experience in process water is considered an asset
* Experience working on submersible pumps is a plus, but not required## Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
* Work is performed in an industrial shop environment where the use of PPE is required
* May include exposure to hazardous materials and loud noise
* Requires prolonged standing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Overtime may be required

The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $35 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
