Overview
Join a fast‑growing team supporting large‑scale data center builds in the Dallas area. We are hiring multiple Cable Technicians, Fiber Technicians, Lead Techs, and Fiber Splicers to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This is a hands‑on opportunity to work on high‑impact infrastructure projects with strong potential for full‑time conversion and career growth.
Key Responsibilities- Install, route, and secure fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5, Cat6, coax).
- Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and pathway installation.
- Complete rack and stack, cable tray installation, and equipment setup.
- Conduct terminations, testing, and troubleshooting (fiber and copper).
- Perform fiber splicing and testing (for higher‑level roles).
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure quality installation standards.
- Manage materials and assist with project tracking.
Level 1 Cable Technician (Entry‑Level)
- Pay: $23‑$25/hr.
- 6+ months of experience or relevant training (trade school/bootcamp).
- Basic cabling, pulling, and installation exposure.
Level 2 Fiber Technician
- Pay: $26‑$30/hr.
- 1‑3+ years of fiber/data center experience.
- Skilled in installations, terminations, and testing.
- Exposure to splicing preferred.
Lead Technician (Level
3)
- Pay: $30‑$39/hr.
- 5+ years of experience in data center builds.
- Experience leading crews (20‑35 technicians).
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
Fiber Splicer
- Pay: $35‑$47/hr.
- Advanced fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting expertise required.
- Structured cabling experience (fiber + copper).
- Knowledge of Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic installation.
- Ability to install, terminate, and test cabling systems.
- Familiarity with rack & stack, cable trays, and pathways.
- Strong understanding of job site safety and quality standards.
- Fiber splicing (fusion/ribbonized).
- Experience using testing tools (e.g., Fluke/Versiv testers).
- Punch‑down and patch panel work.
- IDF/MDF closet builds.
- Data center experience.
- Data center and construction environments.
- Mix of indoor and occasional outdoor work.
- Physically active role (lifting, climbing, working on ladders).

Contract‑to‑Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX, with on‑site work at Carrollton, Irving, and Red Oak, TX.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $23.00‑$40.00/hr, with overtime eligibility (1.5×). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, and hospital, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and PTO/leave.
