Fire Alarm Install Technician

Description

Looking for a seasoned, experienced, and reliable commercial fire alarm technician for immediate employment. Candidates must pass a criminal background check, be drug-free, and have a clean driving record. Specialized training will be offered to the right candidate after demonstrating skill and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of the Notifier line is a plus; factory-trained applicants will be given priority. We work with all manufacturers, so training in other systems is also beneficial.

A company vehicle will be provided for qualified and reliable technicians for business use.

Requirements

• Knowledge of maintaining fire life safety equipment and systems
• Awareness of applicable regulatory codes per County, State, and Federal Fire codes
• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently without direct supervision
• Ability to read fire alarm prints and install systems accordingly, ensuring projects are completed within budget
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• FAL certification is a plus
• Experience with access control, CCTV, structured cabling, data, BDA, and security systems is a plus
