• Perform service & maintenance work on various turbine models
• Commission and troubleshoot wind turbines
• Read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; follow and amend standard work procedures for turbine installation
• Execute required WTG work (preassembly, installation, service & maintenance, etc.)
• Apply practical knowledge of mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, etc.), pneumatics and hydraulics to troubleshoot equipment problems in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Operate and use tools (power, hydraulic, diagnostic and specialized)
• Troubleshoot issues on various turbine models
• Use Touchscreen Controller Hand Terminals
• Follow GWS safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE
• Attend site induction and other meetings held by the client or GWS
• Work according to safety regulations; use all equipment and tools safely and responsibly
• Maintain tools and equipment on site
• Keep work place neat and orderly to prevent accidents and inefficiencies
• Meet weekly reporting deadlines for work hours, progress and travel reports
• Work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

• Pre‑employment background check and drug test
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid GWO BST & BTT and OSHA 10
• Meet technical standards to perform service work on Vestas & SGRE turbines
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 ft on a daily basis, several times per day
• Must weigh less than 260 pounds per safety regulations and equipment limits

• Work independently; climb up to heights of 300+ feet
• Work in confined spaces
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Travel 100% of the time
• Citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit
• Work outside in varying weather conditions, including adverse weather
