Lead Welder Mechanic​/Lead Copper Mechanic

Position: Lead Welder Mechanic / Lead Copper Mechanic
The Lead Welder Mechanic / Lead Copper Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing the installation, fabrication, and assembly of commercial mechanical piping systems while leading field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Essential Responsibilities Lead and supervise field crews on commercial construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings. Coordinate daily work activities with project managers and superintendents.

Install, fabricate, and assemble mechanical piping systems. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements. Maintain project schedules and productivity goals. Train and mentor apprentices and junior mechanics. Conduct material takeoffs and assist with project planning. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
