Position SummaryThe Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, managing inventory adjustments, and monitoring schedule adherence according to inventory protocols. This position involves operating a forklift to support physical and system transactions, pulling work orders, and assisting with inventory movements. Additionally, the role plays a key part in maintaining an organized and audit‑ready environment, supporting inventory control processes, and ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow established cycle‑count plans and ensure timely completion of all counting activities.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies, ensuring reconciliation and data integrity.
- Prepare and submit detailed inventory reports on accuracy, adherence to schedules, and necessary adjustments.
- Perform inventory adjustments in the system based on physical counts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure material availability for production needs.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliation, documenting findings and corrective actions taken.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust inventory as needed, working closely with production, warehouse personnel, and procurement teams.
- Manage product traceability and ensure that all materials used in batching are accurately documented and logged.
- Run the expiry report and move expired materials to the Reject Cage for retesting or to be processed as IDRs.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to pull work orders, move inventory, perform inventory transfers, and support physical inventory processes.
- Assist with physical movement and handling of inventory as required.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory flow and maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always following safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties assigned to support overall production operations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 2‑4 years of experience in a batch processing facility preferred.
- Proficient in compounding methodologies for skin care, OTC, wound care, and cosmetic products.
- Knowledge of USP and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, from floor personnel to senior management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information, identify and troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
