The RoleOur Warehouse Technicians are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving freight using SAP warehouse management system, preparing outbound paperwork, operating a forklift, staging freight efficiently, and handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Job Description Key responsibilities for this role include:- Prepares daily outgoing customer orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and labeling. Ensures paperwork and packaging meets D.O.T Requirements.
- Processes requests and supply orders; pulling, packing , and staging materials and sales orders in appropriate area and ready for transport
- Inspects Freight Bills and Bills of Lading and placement of received materials in their proper storage locations
- Maintains safe and clean work environment, maintaining 5S standards by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Loading and unloading trailers, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe manner to move inventory and stage freight as required.
- Support and participate in Environmental, Safety and Health and quality department programs and requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- High School graduate or GED required
- One to five years of prior warehouse operations/dock operations experience required.
- Must have a valid state drivers’ license and clean driving record
- Good communication, teamwork, organization and planning skills
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., carry up to 50 lbs. and Push/Pull up to 100 lbs.
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Basic math skills
- Experience operating forklifts safely.
- Knowledge and experience handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) with proper safety practices preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks required for warehouse operations.
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening and is subject to random testing per company policy. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
