Job Title: Accounts Payable

Reports To: Director of Finance and Compliance Manager
Location: Carson City, Nevada
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation and Benefits: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. DOE. Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance + Paid Time Off (PTO)

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments and ensuring that all vendor invoices and employee reimbursements are processed accurately and on time. This role is crucial in maintaining strong relationships with vendors and supporting the organization's overall financial health.

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure timely payment of bills and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (ACH, wire transfers, etc.).
• Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues related to billing and payments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department and other internal teams to ensure accurate coding and approvals.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard company assets.

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must obtain and maintain a Gaming Card issued by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle).
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Working knowledge of Quick Books.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-entity business environment.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with 3-way matching.
• Knowledge of sales tax regulations
• Must have experience with front-end and back-end functions of accounting software.
• Prior experience in a hospitality or gaming environment is a strong plus.

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Standard office environment with occasional walking to and from casino, hotel, or restaurant areas as needed.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer and office equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally for records or supplies.
