Job Description Administrative Faculty Contract. Non Tenure Track, Benefits Eligible
- This position is grant funded through 6/30/2027. Employment is contingent upon continued funding. The position is being filled through an emergency appointment. Appointment to the role on a permanent basis is contingent upon meeting additional recruitment requirements. This role is based on the Carson City campus with occasional travel to the Fallon campus. Under the direction and supervision of the Operations & Clinical Coordinator, the Nursing Pathways Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and continuously improving operational systems, processes, and activities that support Allied Health programs that provide a stackable entry to Nursing.
This position serves as a centralized coordination point for such programs and is responsible for facilitating communication, timelines, documentation, operational alignment, compliance processes, and program implementation activities among faculty, staff, students, clinical partners, and college departments. The Nursing Pathways Program Coordinator manages complex operational and program development processes related to clinical education, curriculum implementation, workforce alignment, student progression, and regulatory compliance.
The role exercises independent judgment in coordinating program operations, implementing systems and workflows, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities in alignment with division priorities.
- Program Operations & Systems Coordination For Allied Health and other programs that provide a stackable entry to Nursing, under the supervision of the Operations & Clinical Coordinator –
- Coordinate implementation of operational systems, workflows, processes and timelines supporting programs across all campuses
- Serve as primary program coordinator for assigned programs, facilitating communication, timelines, documentation, workflow tracking, and operational implementation among stakeholders
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities including scheduling, logistics, communication, resource coordination, and program implementation
- Coordinate operational processes related to courses, labs, simulations, equipment, instructional resources, and program activities
- Develop and maintain organized operational records, tracking systems, reports, and documentation supporting compliance, audits, program operations, and accreditation activities
- Coordinate onboarding and operational support processes for adjunct faculty, instructional staff, preceptors, and program partners
- Coordinate implementation and continuous improvement of established program processes, workflows, operational practices, and communication systems
- Facilitate meetings, maintain timelines, track progress, document outcomes, and coordinate completion of operational and program development activities
- Support data tracking, operational reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities related to assigned program
- Coordinate communication and operational alignment among faculty, staff, students, clinical partners, employers and administrative departments
- For Allied Health and other programs that provide a stackable entry to Nursing, under the supervision of the Operations & Clinical Coordinator –
- Plan, coordinate, and maintain clinical and work-based learning experience for Allied Health and other programs that provide a stackable entry to Nursing to include
- Execute operational processes associated with clinical and work-based learning placements
- Manage compliance processes for program entry and participation
- Manage onboarding and support activities for students, clinical instructors, preceptors, and site contacts
- Maintain all related paperwork using an organized system aligned with regulatory requirements
- Communicate with and track progress of all participants related to processes and scheduling
- Problem-solve issues as they arise
- Support accreditation preparation, regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance review activities
- Maintain working knowledge of accreditation standards, state regulations, and program requirements applicable to assigned programs
