Service Advisor

Michael Hohl Automotive Group is a trusted, multi-line dealership serving Northern Nevada. We are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and building a team that shares our passion for automotive excellence.

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. Our Service Advisors are the face of the service department — the link between our customers and our technicians. We are looking for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and motivated to deliver an exceptional service experience every day. This role rewards people who can build trust, communicate clearly, and turn a service visit into a lasting customer relationship.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary plus performance-based commissions or bonuses

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) plan

  • Ongoing manufacturer and dealership training opportunities

  • Employee vehicle purchase program

Responsibilities
  • Greet service customers, perform vehicle workarounds, and accurately document customer concerns on repair orders

  • Set realistic expectations on repair timelines and costs, then communicate vehicle status proactively throughout the day

  • Recommend and present additional services or maintenance items based on technician findings

  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate repair completion

  • Review completed repair orders with customers at delivery, explaining all work performed

  • Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction and build return loyalty

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a service advisor or in a dealership service role preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

  • Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)

  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload accurately in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
