The Payments Product group manages and delivers payments products for the Bank's clients, including consumers, small businesses, corporate and institutional.
Responsibilities- Create product roadmaps for the Payments Products using industry trends, market research, Voice of Client feedback, and input from key stakeholders.
- Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic payment initiatives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product enhancements and innovations.
- Analyze and report on payments usage, trends and profitability.
- Serve as a Payments Subject Matter Expert for internal teams, including leading strategic planning for product direction and understanding the end-to-end customer experience for payments products.
- Work closely with Operations, IT and Digital Product Managers to deliver new functionality, enhancements and capabilities in the Payments space.
- Partner with product marketing and sales enablement to ensure market success for product launches and enhancements.
- Identify and partner with key vendors, fintechs, etc. to develop and expand the go-to market offerings.
- Partner with internal departments (compliance, legal, audit, credit and risk) to ensure that all product features and functionality meet company and regulatory standards.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including Senior Management, Sales, Implementation and Customer Support, to understand their needs and align development initiatives.
- Ensure all internal and external product documentation and due diligence is current.
- Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of product management experience plus 5+ years of treasury and payments experience OR a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Experience gaining influence and cross‑functional consensus.
- Experience interpreting market and financial data to align strategies and build innovation around products and features.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
- A motivated and organized self‑starter mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience and understanding of Treasury Payments product use cases and back‑end functionality.
- Thorough understanding of emerging payment rails (RTP, Fed Now, etc.) and/or experience leading new payment rail initiatives.
- Hold certifications such as CTP, AAP, APRP, NCP, or AFPP.
