Customer Experience Greeter — Service Department

We are seeking a Customer Experience Greeter to join our service department. The Customer Experience Greeter is the first face our service customers see — and the impression you make sets the tone for their entire visit. We are looking for someone warm, polished, and genuinely people-oriented who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in making every customer feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment they arrive.

This is not a background role; it is a front-line position that directly shapes how customers feel about our dealership.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome every customer to the service drive with a prompt, friendly greeting and a professional first impression
  • Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor and ensure smooth, efficient check-in from arrival to write-up
  • Proactively communicate wait times and vehicle status updates to customers in the service lounge
  • Keep the service reception area, customer lounge, and drive lane clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day
  • Assist service advisors with administrative support including appointment check-ins, outbound appointment reminder calls, and light scheduling tasks
  • Anticipate customer needs — offer refreshments, answer general questions, and create a comfortable waiting experience
  • Serve as a calm, positive presence when customers are stressed or frustrated, escalating to management when appropriate
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role — hospitality, retail, reception, or similar environment preferred
  • Naturally warm and professional communication style, both in person and over the phone
  • Ability to stay organized and composed in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using scheduling software, CRM tools, or multi-line phone systems — or quick to learn new technology
  • Valid driver's license preferred
