This contract position is on-site, providing an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment where patient care and safety are our top priorities.

As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to our commitment to excellence in medical services.

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to develop anesthesia plans
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and patient consultations
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and best practices

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in the state of Nevada
• Completion of residency in Anesthesiology
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule:

8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

Call:
Weeknights (7p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)

Case Types:
General, ortho, cardiac, OB, podiatry, healthy peds, ENT, neuro, vascular, thoracic

Skills Required:

Spinals, blocks, epidurals

Cardiac experience is a plus

Daily Team Structure: 3 MDs, 10 CRNAs

Will supervise CRNAs and work independently

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
