Education Tutor; Seasonal

Tutor Position

Under the supervision of the Education Advisor and general supervision of the Education Manager, the tutor will provide tutorial assistance to American Indian students, grades K through 12.

Duties:

• Tutor students in Grades K-12 during the After School Program; school subjects with an emphasis in Mathematics, English and Reading.
• Tutors will work with the Tribal Education Advisors; participate in monthly Education Meetings as needed.
• Submit weekly reports to the Education Advisor; participate in monthly Education Meetings as needed.
• Will participate in other educational related activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a high school diploma and prefer a minimum of one year of college course work.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with Indian students, staff, teachers and parents.
• Applicants must have strong academic skills in Math, English, History and Reading.
• Must pass a security clearance and RSIC vehicle insurance requirements.
• Qualify Indian preference apply.
