Position: Teaching Assistant, Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
* Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
* Ability to effectively communicate with faculty, other TAs, staff, and students.
* Hold current EMS certification (card required).
* Hold current CPR Certification (card required) through the American Heart Association (Health Care Provider) or American Red Cross (Professional Rescue/Health Care Provider).
* A valid driver's license, clear driving record, and EVOC training certificate required, if operating the ambulance.
* Experience teaching EMS content and EMS skills
* A minimum of three years recent experience as a basic EMT, paramedic or advanced EMT
* Current EMS instructor certification
* Assist faculty to teach and evaluate course content, including basic EMS skills, under the direction of the course faculty member.
* Assist course faculty member to set up and dismantle laboratory supplies and equipment in the agreed upon storage area.
* Interact professionally with representatives from the Nevada State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to help ensure student eligibility for EMS certification in the State of Nevada.
* Submit time card to course faculty member on an agreed upon schedule.
