Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. The role involves creating and updating 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Solid Works. You will prepare layouts, part, and assembly drawings, and documentation for manufacturing, tooling, and sales. Collaborate closely with engineers to interpret redlines, apply GD&T, verify dimensions and tolerances, and ensure drawings meet company standards.

Responsibilities

* Create and update 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Solid Works.

* Prepare layouts, part, and assembly drawings for manufacturing, tooling, and sales.

* Interpret redlines, apply GD&T, and verify dimensions and tolerances.

* Ensure all drawings meet company standards.

* Maintain drawing files and update drafting and engineering standards.

* Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

* Communicate effectively with teams across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales.

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and Solid Works.

* Strong technical drawing and drafting skills.

* Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) ASME Y14.5.

* Document control and standards compliance expertise.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with manufacturing processes, CNC workflows, machining basics, or tooling practices.

* Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.

* Ability to use 3D printing or prototyping tools for model verification.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Carson City, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Health/Life/Disability:
Medical/Vision, Employee Dental, Basic Employee and Dependent Life/AD&, Short-Term disability are 100% company paid for employees. The current cost for medical/vision insurance for spouse is $447.80 per month; child/children only is $351.55 per month; family coverage is $631.95 per month and is subject to change annually. Our coverage is through Aetna PPO for everyone. Voluntary Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability are additional options available for employees.

Effective 30-days from your start date. 401(k):
Click Bond's 401(k) Plan has a guaranteed dollar-for-dollar company match on employee contributions to the 401(k) plan up to 4% of eligible wages and fifty cents per dollar match on employee contributions above 4% and up to 6% of wages. Vacation:
Two weeks paid vacation per annum: accrual begins immediately, and you can use the vacation time as it accrues. Accrual starts as of your first day of employment. Sick:
