Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and versatile R&D Engineer with experience in mechanical or chemical engineering, material science, composites, fastener expertise, or robotics. Ideal candidates should touch on two to three of these areas. The role is perfect for someone who is curious, gains energy from solving complex problems, and thrives on creating and innovating. Having aerospace experience is advantageous, particularly for understanding design development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product development and research initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new adhesives and materials.

• Apply expertise in composites and fasteners to enhance product durability and performance.

• Utilize robotics and automation knowledge to streamline production processes.

• Program and manage PLCs and controls engineering systems using technologies such as Rockwell, Siemens PLC, and Fanuc.

• Conduct thorough research and development to support innovative solutions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in PLC programming and automation.

• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens PLC, and Fanuc systems.

• Strong experience in mechanical and chemical engineering, with a focus on new adhesives.

• Knowledge of material science and composites.

• Robotics expertise, including programming and schematic design.

• Three to five years of relevant experience, with flexibility for more experienced candidates who exhibit curiosity and versatility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in design and controls engineering.

• Familiarity with ROS and ROS2, MATLAB Simulink, and SCADA systems.

• Aerospace experience is beneficial.

• Ability to adapt and embrace new working methods.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carson City, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Health/Life/Disability:
Medical/Vision, Employee Dental, Basic Employee and Dependent Life/AD&, Short-Term disability are 100% company paid for employees. The current cost for medical/vision insurance for spouse is $447.80 per month; child/children only is $351.55 per month; family coverage is $631.95 per month and is subject to change annually. Our coverage is through Aetna PPO for everyone. Voluntary Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability are additional options available for employees.

Effective 30-days from your start date. 401(k):
