Network Specialist - Outside Plant Engineering

• Design OSP projects and supervise consultants coordinating outside plant field construction in multiple locations
• Provide technical support for special projects and work with finance and legal departments to ensure compliance and risk management
• Conduct audits of OSP projects and coach consultants/contractors on standards and compliance
• Review reports from field personnel for accuracy and manage project documentation
• Create network designs using GIS tools and provide strategic data analysis for OSP teams

• Associate degree (or higher) or 2+ years of professional work experience
• 2+ years’ experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced working knowledge of NESC construction practices and engineering standards

• Experience with GIS, ESRI, ArcGIS, and spatial analysis
• Background in Telephony or related fields
• Strong leadership and customer relations skills
• Ability to read and assess fiber and/or HFC designs and prints
• PC database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills
