As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will provide complete service solutions to address critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring systems. This includes evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis.
Responsibilities- Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.
- Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
- Complete timely reports that identify findings and provide recommendations to the customer.
- Build relationships with customers, becoming their trusted advisor for rotating equipment health.
- Calculate and oversee placement of balance weights.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
- Available for extensive travel (up to 70%) and significant overtime (paid).
- Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
- Eligible to obtain TWIC.
- Eligible to travel overseas and/or work on offshore platforms on occasion.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of reliability services.
- ISO certification for vibration analysis.
- Demonstrated authority and assurance in dealing with people.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working under stressful working conditions.
- Project Management skills.
- Solid computer skills using MS Office.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding mechanical prints.
- Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and control systems.
- Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems.
- Knowledge of or experience with at least one of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotodynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing and alignment.
- Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and Cordant TM services.
- Basic familiarity with computer network systems.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $79,490.00 - $.
Location:
Office-based / hybrid / remote; must be located near the displayed locations.
