The incumbent will perform geotechnical analysis and design, develop contract documents, provide construction support, and serve as a technical expert on design codes and standards.
This is an on-site, full-time position requiring a Professional Engineer license and relevant civil engineering expertise.### Key qualifications
* Master's degree in civil engineering field (geotechnical, structural, water resources, transportation, or construction) and Professional Engineer licensure
* OR Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 12 graduate-level units relevant to assignment, P.E. licensure, and one year post-licensure experience
* OR five years of professional experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer performing relevant engineering work
* Knowledge of mathematics, calculus, strength of materials, and civil engineering principles applicable to geotechnical specialization
* Skills in finite element methods, probability and statistical analysis, project management, and technical communication
