Overview
Nevada Department of Transportation, Structures Division, Design Section, is hiring a Professional Engineer in Carson City, NV.
Responsibilities- Develop structural design documents and provide construction support services for highway construction projects.
- Perform structural engineering analysis and design of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel structures.
- Perform structural analysis and design of transportation structures using the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Bridge Design Specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong technical expertise and independent judgment.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
