Reporting to the Sports book Manager, the Ticket Writer is the primary point of contact for customers, providing high‑level service and assistance with sports betting options. The role ensures compliance with company rules and gaming regulations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for both regular and novice bettors.

• Provide top‑tier customer service and encourage repeat visits.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set by the company and the Gaming Control Board.
• Learn and discuss the available betting options with customers to help them make informed decisions.
• Resolve customer disputes or complaints and, when necessary, elevate issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and leadership to support daily operations.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation in accordance with company policy and Gaming Control Board standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Basic computer proficiency (email, MS Excel, internet).
• Minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience in a work setting.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• Age 21 or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions if required.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Flexible scheduling availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding and commitment to compliance with company and Gaming Control Board requirements.

• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift, pull or push up to 25 pounds.
• Write for extended periods of time.
• Twist, bend or reach without significant limitations.
