JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY The Associate Consumer Finance Specialist Is responsible for servicing loan customers by phone, email, chat and other forms of communication. The work includes, following up with customers & sales reps by phone, chatting and/or email to communicate the status of their application, compiling the appropriate documents to complete the loan, and ensuring loans are signed by customers in a timely manner.

The documents or information is then reviewed by the lender to finish processing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Working from the direction of the other specialists, leads and department manager, the Associate Consumer Finance Specialist will process opportunities, non-instant approvals and support requests, utilizing the associated systems, keeping up-to-date statuses and next action dates so the team can efficiently and effectively complete the work. In doing so, communicates to customers, sales reps and retailers when customer account status or additional information is required to resolve open items.

For qualified customers, complete loan application data entry in the lender platform, review status of loan decisions, and track all workflow items and next action steps in the appropriate system. Communicate with the customer, sales rep and consumer finance specialist about the status of the application and next steps.

Compile the appropriate documents to complete the loan, and ensure loans are signed in a timely manner. Send all documents and/or information to lender for final processing. Update the appropriate system on the status of the application and any issues. Communicate with the customer, sales rep, retailer and consumer finance specialist as appropriate.

Handle routine, standard, repetitive administrative and reporting duties as assigned. Document current processes and recommend improvements.

This role follows a set weekly schedule across multiple time zones:

Wednesday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM PST / 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM MST)
Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST / 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM MST)
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Associate or bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated ability to overcome objections, negotiate positive outcomes and present positive image of the company

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer/data entry skills

Ability to work independently and be pro-active, detail oriented, and well-organized

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual (Spanish)
COMPENSATION Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

PAY RANGE:$62,960.00 - $94,440.00
