Clinical Documentation Quality Analyst

• Conduct concurrent and second-level reviews of clinical documentation for quality measures and clinical validation
• Serve as a liaison between the CDI department, coding, quality, and compliance teams
• Educate healthcare providers and CDI Analysts on documentation integrity and compliance
• Assist with audits to ensure accurate medical coding and compliance with guidelines
• Manage advanced work queues to improve documentation quality and outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active RN license
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in acute care nursing, education, and clinical documentation integrity
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) must be obtained within one (1) year of hire
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

• Experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity Auditing/Education
• Strong understanding of CMS, Vizient, AHRQ, and other payer/quality methodologies
• Proficiency with IHIS and CDI software platforms
• Experience with mortality index analysis and documentation impact on quality scores
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM coding and AHA Coding Clinic
