The Manager of Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Education serves as the operational and programmatic leader of inpatient nutrition services, outpatient nutrition services, and diabetes education services. The manager collaborates with a variety of stakeholders regarding the activity of these services throughout the health system. Programmatic areas of oversight may include medical nutrition therapy programs, dietetic internship coordination, food pantry program, diabetes education recognition program, and diabetes prevention program.
QualificationsRequired
- Master’s degree as required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (effective Jan. 1, 2024)
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential that is active and in good standing
- Nevada-licensed Dietitian
- Two (2) years’ experience in clinical practice
- Five (5) years’ administrative experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience in program management
- Experience with Computrition, EPIC
- Certification from a recognized food safety course (e.g. Serv Safe)
