Position: School Psychologist | Carson City, Nevada

As a School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators to foster a safe and supportive school environment. Your skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention will help unlock every students potential and ensure their well-being.

Qualifications
  • Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible School Psychologist licensure/certification in Nevada
  • Strong foundation in psycho educational assessments, special education processes, and evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and build connections with students, staff, and families
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and interpret assessment findings
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and special education processes in compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and social-emotional interventions tailored to student needs
  • Provide individual and small group counseling as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and special education professionals to address academic and behavioral challenges
  • Support intervention planning through Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records and adhere to professional and legal standards
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
