Position: General Manager-7 Grille Restaurant

General Manager - Seven Grille

Location: Carson City, NV, 89701 - $58,000 - $65,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, service-driven General Manager to lead our high-end dining establishment. This individual will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, financial performance, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate is a polished hospitality professional with a passion for fine dining, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving revenue while maintaining elevated service standards.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, and mentor front- and back-of-house management teams
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality excellence
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing service training
  • Maintain high staff morale and retention
Guest Experience
  • Ensure impeccable service standards are consistently delivered
  • Personally engage with VIP guests and manage guest recovery when needed
  • Uphold the restaurant’s brand, ambiance, and luxury presentation standards
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including dining room, bar, and events
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
  • Manage vendor relationships and inventory controls
  • Ensure the highest quality standards for food, beverage, and presentation
Financial Performance
  • Develop and manage budgets, P&L statements, and forecasting
  • Control labor costs and cost of goods sold
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic promotions and community partnerships
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement performance improvements
Brand & Community Engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotions, events, and brand positioning
  • Build relationships within the local business and hospitality community
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressive restaurant management experience
  • Proven experience managing annual revenue operations (preferred)
  • Financial acumen with experience in reading and managing P&L statements
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of wine, craft cocktails, and elevated dining service standards
  • Serv Safe and alcohol certification (or ability to obtain)
