DescriptionRemote. The organization delivers enterprise computing services in an Agile federal environment and emphasizes quality, performance, accessibility, and security across mission-critical systems. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Support test automation frameworks and test management tools.
- Participate in integrated QA and QC activities with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct load and performance testing to validate scalability and reliability.
- Support Independent Validation and Verification activities.
- Execute accessibility testing to support Section 508 and WCAG compliance.
- Identify, document, and track defects, validate fixes, and support regression testing.
- Provide test metrics, status reports, and release readiness inputs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous process improvement.
- 1 to 4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Manual and automated testing experience.
- Test plan and test case development.
- Experience with Selenium.
- Experience with Cypress.
- Experience with Playwright using Java and/or JavaScript.
- Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Accessibility testing using aXe and/or pa11y.
- API testing using Postman in AWS environments and/or Rest Assured.
- Version control and CI/CD experience using Git Lab.
- Experience supporting federal or large enterprise IT programs (preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems such as AWS (preferred).
- Experience working in Agile or Dev Sec Ops environments (preferred).
- Understanding of accessibility standards including Section 508 and WCAG (preferred).
