We are currently searching for an AVP of Legal Operations to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Legal Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing projects and initiatives within our Legal and Chief Administrative Officer functions. This position involves structured project management, documentation, and coordination across various functional areas to enhance enterprise data governance and other pivotal projects.

As a highly organized and analytically skilled professional with a strong background in project management, legal operations, data governance, and compliance frameworks, you will be instrumental in establishing standards across our enterprise.

• Execute the Enterprise Data Governance & Lifecycle Risk Program, supporting discovery and data classification initiatives.
• Maintain structured governance dashboards to monitor deletion backlogs, retention compliance, and project milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional governance sessions with teams from Legal, IT, Info Sec, and other areas.
• Assist in managing data glossary documentation and engage Data Champions across various business units.
• Support the creation of training materials and initiatives to raise governance awareness.
• Integrate governance metrics into enterprise reporting frameworks.

• Oversee trackers and reporting systems for concurrent legal and governance projects.
• Create and manage executive-level status reports and KPI dashboards, utilizing tools like Excel and SharePoint for real-time visibility into governance initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between Legal, IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors as needed.
• Draft and update SOPs, policy documents, and governance materials to comply with privacy and retention frameworks.
• Ensure all documentation is prepared for audits and centrally maintained.

• Associate's degree required; bachelor e9s degree preferred.
• PMP certification or similar training highly desirable.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a Senior Associate role or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent cross-functional initiatives.
• Solid understanding of data governance, retention policies, and privacy frameworks.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for creating tracking models and dashboards; familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint is a plus.
• Experience with CLM systems and enterprise documentation tools is beneficial.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with data discovery or classification tools and Zero Trust principles is desired.
• Strong communication and reporting skills are preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $. Specific compensation will be determined based on interviews, education, experience, skills, location, and market alignment. Selected candidates may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and all full-time employees receive PTO and paid holidays, as per program policies. Full-time employees can also participate in various benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as 401K plans.
