Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Center Operations Specialist III with extensive hands‑on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tooling and cloud operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic production support environment and excel at executing our operational and compliance frameworks.
Required Qualifications- 3-5+ years of experience in cloud operations, systems administration, or production support.
- Proven expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), covering compute, networking, IAM, and storage.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VCN, DNS, and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring, incident management, and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work effectively within highly structured, compliance‑driven environments.
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and managing databases, ideally Oracle databases.
- Experience with Commercial and highly regulated SaaS services.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP or ILx.
- Experience in scripting/automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Prior experience in 24x7 production environments.
- Knowledge of tools like Shepherd or similar technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with M&O stacks such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry is a plus.
- Must be a United States Citizen and currently reside in the United States. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
- Conduct daily cloud operations within OCI environments, including provisioning, configuration, and access management.
- Assist in customer onboarding and ensure environment readiness for regulated workloads.
- Monitor system health, respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests promptly.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and runbooks aligned with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with OCI SRE and engineering teams to ensure secure, stable, and scalable operations.
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation and comply with all operational controls.
- Participate in on‑call rotation supporting a 24x7 operations model.
- The operations team may require rotating shifts.
Certain U.S.
-based or U.S. client‑facing roles may require compliance with immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.
US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
