Senior IT Business Analyst - State of Nevada

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Microsoft 365/Data Management teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyze, document, and redesign business processes to improve efficiency and support modernization initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows and Teams collaboration solutions that automate routine tasks.
• Create and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision making.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions, produce functional specifications, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Support testing, user training, and change management for newly implemented M365 solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within an IT environment, preferably in transportation or government sectors.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Proven ability to model, analyze, and improve complex business processes using Agile or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of delivering clear documentation and effective presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, Microsoft Power Platform) are a plus.
