Position:
Part‑time, temporary/seasonal (Full‑Time Equivalent 48.8%)
- Must be able to interpret/transliterate subject matter effectively.
- Must have expressive and receptive skills, including finger spelling.
- Registration as a Provisional Community Interpreter or Community Interpreter required.
- Attends all classes and interprets lectures, class discussions, videos, and other class activities which involve the spoken word.
- Interprets/transliterates all information conveying the context of the speaker using language most readily understood by the student.
- Interprets spoken English to American Sign Language and American Sign Language to spoken English.
