Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintains operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs
- Respond to calls for assistance and minor repairs
- Assist in the performance of regular preventive maintenance procedures of plant and kitchen equipment, interior and exterior cosmetic maintenance and fixture/furniture repairs.
- May at times be required to assist in the landscaping maintenance
- Uses knowledge of fundamental building maintenance, casino/hotel experience preferable
- Possess proficiency of hand or power tools
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines
- Respond to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property
- Basic reading and writing abilities
- Ability to work safely with power equipment and tools
- Proficient in life safety systems operation and resetting.
- Must be able to understand and follow MSDS sheets
- Know the location of all safety equipment how to use the safety equipment and check safety equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- General maintenance experience preferred
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
