Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Calibrate tools and fixtures
• Create and update CAD models and drawings
• Scan and evaluate parts for accuracy
• Assist with tool design, manufacture, and documentation
• Perform first‑article inspections
• Support root‑cause investigations and corrective actions
• Collect and analyse manufacturing data
• Develop work instructions and specifications
• Drive lean and continuous improvement practices
• Maintain safety and compliance standards

• Technical school diploma
• Proficient in 3D CAD (NX or Key Creator preferred; Solid Works acceptable)
• EDM and CMM experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and machining processes
• Familiarity with PC‑DMIS, Geomagic, or similar software preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English; ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
