Manufacturing Engineer
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Process Technician role based in Carson City, NV. The Process Technician will set up, monitor, and adjust production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing of rubber and related components. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, identifying and correcting process issues, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows. The role also involves conducting in-process quality checks, documenting process parameters, and following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
In addition, the Process Technician will support preventive maintenance activities, assist in training team members on processes and equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment and process issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality control practices, including in-process inspections, measuring against specifications, and documenting results.
- Familiarity with process engineering concepts such as process optimization, parameter adjustments, and root-cause analysis of production problems.
- Ability to perform and support preventive maintenance tasks to maintain equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Experience providing training or mentoring on equipment operation, standard procedures, and safety practices.
- Prior manufacturing experience, preferably in rubber, plastics, or related industrial production, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort reading and following technical documents, work instructions, and basic engineering drawings.
- Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement; ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing, mechanics, or a related field is a plus.
