Assembler
Employnet is seeking motivated and detail-oriented assemblers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling computer servers and electronic components while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble computer servers, hardware components, and subassemblies according to work instructions and production specifications.
- Install and connect components such as motherboards, processors, memory modules, power supplies, and cables.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform visual inspections to verify product quality and identify defects or missing components.
- Follow detailed assembly procedures, technical documents, and production work orders.
- Conduct basic functional testing and verification of completed assemblies.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Adhere to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and manufacturing best practices.
- Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Report quality concerns, equipment issues, and material shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with product rework, repairs, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Electronic or computer hardware assembly experience
- Hand and power tool proficiency
- Quality inspection experience
- ESD knowledge and compliance
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
