3rd shift Monday‑Friday 9:30pm‑6am with overtime when needed – Full‑time work

Coordinates the activities of assigned team members on matters related to production, including the quality and safety of packaged food products; the safety of team members; ongoing housekeeping of assigned areas; adherence to the production schedule (e.g., rest and lunch breaks); line efficiency optimization under guidance from Line or Area Supervisor; and timely, effective communication with production leaders to support overall production effectiveness.

• Maintains the entire work area in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Complies with all company and plant policies and procedures, including the facilities’ GMP program.
• Ensures all OSHA guidelines are followed and reports any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Validates the use of the plant’s lockout‑tagout procedures, job rotation program, etc., as needed.
• Promotes a positive and safe work environment.
• Adheres to the schedule week to week, reacting to schedule changes due to flavor or pack type changeovers.
• Monitors case attainment, reacting when falling behind or ahead of schedule.
• Ensures packaging standards are met, including film, carton, case, and code date, packaging integrity, and quality checks on each order.
• Sets up equipment to centerline settings, e.g., wrappers, carton closers, carton formers, jet printers.
• Handles start‑up, change‑over, and shut‑down duties for packing equipment at the beginning, middle, and end of each shift.
• Communicates, trains, coaches, and motivates team members.
• Fills in as necessary due to callouts, vacation, PTO, and other absences.
• Passes down training information, processes, procedures, and company values to new hires and ensures existing personnel are up to date.
• Loads, removes, and/or off‑loads materials and products into machines and equipment using hand tools and moving devices.
• Communicates with supervisors, peers, and team members by telephone, written form, e‑mail, and/or in person.
• Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
• Identifies information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
• Assists in developing SOPs.
• Creates daily reports regarding staffing, production numbers, scrapped material, and issues throughout the shift.
• Develops, maintains, and communicates visual KPIs to provide ongoing feedback on productivity, quality, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Conducts daily post‑op meetings covering prior day performance and current day requirements.
