Job Overview

Location: Carson City, Nevada

Base Pay: $17.25/hr. 2nd and 3rd shift receive a $1.50/hr shift differential. Overtime and other incentives available.

Monday-Thursday 9:00 pm – 5:30 am;
Friday 9:00 pm – 7:30 am.

Job Summary: Sanitation Technician responsible for sanitizing all equipment in the plant per customer specifications and company policies, including GMP and safety requirements.

• Sanitize equipment using chemicals and power washers.
• Read chemical labels to ensure safe applications.
• Manually scrub machinery using brushes or scrub pads.
• Lightly clean coolers, collect floor garbage, sweep with dust mop.
• Disassemble equipment for cleaning.
• Pressure wash rugs.
• Occasionally clean overhead storage levels using a man lift.
• Inspect equipment to verify sanitation standards are met.
• Report all issues to supervisor.
• Perform any job task according to safety policies and procedures.
• Promote products and services, exceeding customer expectations while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and the Safe Quality Food Program.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the manager.
