Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Additional training in food manufacturing, food safety, quality assurance, or production operations is a plus.
• Certifications related to GMP, HACCP, SQF, or workplace safety are beneficial but not required.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, food production, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
• Experience supervising production employees in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, team leadership, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with production reporting systems preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are an asset.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production facility for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
• Work comfortably in refrigerated, wet, or temperature-controlled food production environments.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.

Job Duties

• Lead, coach, and support production team members to achieve daily production goals in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Monitor production schedules, staffing, and workflow to maximize efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards.
• Train employees on production processes, food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and quality expectations.
• Monitor product quality, resolve production issues, minimize downtime, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete production reports, inventory records, and shift documentation while partnering with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
