Assembly Technician

Job Description

This position is full-time and on-site in Carson City, Nevada.

*** Must have electrical wiring experience***

*** Able to work on ladders, platforms, and small, tight spaces***

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, integrating, wiring, and testing industrial instrumentation systems, sample conditioning systems, and control panels using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, panel assembly, or production environment.
• Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing operations.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or instrumentation assembly preferred

TECHNICAL

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, writing diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Proficiency with standard hand tools (drills, grinders, cutting wheels, chop saws)
• Able to accurately measure, assemble, and install components for panels
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and NEC requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and work on assembly tasks for extended periods of time
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry items up to 50+ pounds
• Able to handle hand and power tools with ease, and assemble equipment safely
• Able to work on ladders, platforms, or inside SMALL SPACE equipment enclosures

COMPENSATION

$35 - $45 hour
