Role Description

The Assembly Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Carson City, NV. This position is responsible for assembling CEMS and related monitoring equipment and components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Day-to-day tasks include mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering, using hand and power tools, and performing visual and functional checks to verify quality and safety standards. The Assembly Technician will collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot assembly issues, maintain an organized and clean work area, and support testing, documentation, and preparation of units for installation at client sites.

The role may also involve assisting with inventory of parts, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of assembly processes.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong mechanical assembly skills, including reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with hand tools and power tools for safe and accurate equipment assembly.
  • Candidates should possess soldering skills for wiring, electronic connections, and component integration.
  • Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection, testing, and documentation to meet compliance and safety standards.
  • Relevant skills and qualifications include attention to detail, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, ability to follow procedures, and effective communication with team members.
  • Previous experience in industrial equipment assembly, instrumentation, or environmental monitoring systems is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electronics, mechanical systems, or related fields is a plus.
