Provide  OB-only anesthesia  as a  Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)  in  Carson City, Nevada (89703) —supporting Labor & Delivery within a collaborative  MD/CRNA care team model  at  a hospital in Carson City, NV .

Located in the scenic high desert near the Sierra Nevada,  Carson City, NV 89703  offers easy access to Lake Tahoe, hiking, and year-round outdoor recreation—an ideal home base between rotations.

Schedule:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM;  7 days on / 7 days off

Call:  3:00 PM – 7:00 AM  every night during the scheduled on-week

Shift Duration:  8-hour days

Shifts per Week:  5

Hours per Week:  40

Credentialing Timeline:  60–90 days

CRNA (OB Anesthesia) Requirements

Experience:

Minimum  2 years  of CRNA experience required

Demonstrated proficiency with  spinals, epidurals, neuraxial anesthesia, and regional blocks

Comfort working in an  MD/CRNA care team model  and collaborating with Labor & Delivery staff

Ability to respond to OB anesthesia needs during assigned call periods (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM during scheduled on-weeks)

Key Responsibilities (Labor & Delivery)

Provide safe, evidence-based  OB anesthesia  care for  Labor & Delivery  and other OB-only cases

Perform and manage  epidurals ,  spinals , and appropriate  regional anesthesia  techniques

Monitor patients throughout the peri-anesthesia continuum and respond to changes in clinical status

Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and the broader care team to support excellent maternal outcomes and patient safety

Participate in  night call  coverage  every night during scheduled on-weeks  and document anesthesia care per facility standards
