Position: Quality Inspector I

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector I at Hyve Solutions Corporation is responsible for performing quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of electronic components, assemblies, and systems according to established procedures, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and gauges, to verify product conformity.
  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in appropriate systems and logs.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes as required.
  • Assist in the investigation of quality issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality discrepancies.
  • Perform basic data entry and maintain inspection records.
  • Adhere to all company quality policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using basic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, rulers).
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
