- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum 5–8 years of quality engineering or quality control experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment

- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and AS/ISO standards
- Experience with inspection processes, document control, and manufacturing quality systems
- Knowledge of turbine engine repair processes or aerospace manufacturing

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems

The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing quality inspection operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to maintain product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive aerospace quality experience, and a thorough understanding of AS/ISO standards, inspection processes, and quality management systems.
Quality Operations- Coordinate and oversee daily inspection activities across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation for inspection functions.
- Review document control processes and manufacturing documentation.
- Review shop travelers and production documentation for compliance.
- Perform inspections and testing as required.
- Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Systems Manual (QSM).
- Maintain compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM) and AS/ISO quality standards.
- Serve as Management Representative for AS/ISO quality system compliance.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Review and update quality procedures and documentation as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Supervise Receiving Inspection, Final Inspection, NDT Operations, Metallurgical Laboratory, and Calibration functions.
- Ensure employees maintain required certifications and training.
- Cross‑train team members to improve operational flexibility.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and development recommendations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain departmental safety and housekeeping standards.
- Promote compliance with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
- Ensure adherence to FAA, AS/ISO, and company quality requirements.
- Support regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
- Ensure regular attendance and operational reliability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5–8 years of quality engineering or quality control experience in a related industry.
